About John Anno

I’m John Anno — a husband, father, widower, and follower of Jesus who has walked through deep loss and discovered that grace truly meets us in every season. My story isn’t polished or perfect. It’s real, honest, and shaped by the kind of pain that changes a person forever — and by the kind of hope that refuses to let go. My journey through grief began when my wife, Meredith, passed away unexpectedly. In the months and years that followed, I slowly learned what it meant to breathe again, to trust again, and to believe that God still had purpose for my life. That journey eventually led me to love again, to rebuild our family, and to discover a calling I never expected: walking with others through their valleys and helping them find light in dark places.

Today, I share my story because I know what it feels like to sit in the quiet places of loss — and I know the small, steady ways light can begin to break through again. My heart is for widows, widowers, families, churches, and anyone who needs to hear that healing is possible and that God remains faithful, even when life doesn’t look like we thought it would. My message is simple and steadfast: you are not alone. Your story still matters. Grace will meet you right where you are, in the mess and the silence and the slow rebuilding.

Whether I’m speaking at a church, joining a podcast conversation, writing for those walking grief’s road, or sitting with a grief‑support group, my desire is always the same — to offer hope, honesty, and the steady reminder that God walks with us through every season. If my story resonates with yours, I’d be honored to connect, listen, and walk alongside you however I can.

Grace doesn’t erase our valleys — it walks with us through them.
