Hailing from Springfield, Missouri, BringYourGreenHat bring's you a unique blending of music that creates something new and lasting.
A fusion of various musical styles which includes blues, funk, jazz, and rock. A creative musical exploration based around a rhythmic structure with a commitment to song craft. It's a feeling and a connection, one you can't point to but know when you see it. It's satisfying and challenging, unquestioned and trusted. It ebbs and flows and moves us...and in the end, it's music! Music that has something to say and BringYourGreenHat has the skill to fluidly express it.
BringYourGreenHat is a collaboration of five of Springfield Missouri's finest musicians.
Richie Allen on drums, John Anno lead guitar, Nick Archambault bass, Mark Barger vocals and acoustic guitar and Markus Reynolds percussion.
Each has performed shows throughout the Midwest for several years, and have shared the stage with such national acts as The Urge, The Phunk Junkeez, 2 Live Crew, Tech N9ne, Afroman, Nelly & The St. Lunatics, Mystikal, Fabolous, Coolio and Pretty Willie.
Their music can describe so many things without saying a word.

Mark Barger- singer songwriter - Rhythm Guitar
Started writing music in the year 2002. Songs streaming from depression, romance, current events and even personal future uncertainties. Always wanted to bring something back to music that has been missing. Desires to put meaning and feel into words. Uses acoustic guitar as the mainstay of instrumental composition. Takes his friendships very serious and the future just as so. Music should be universal, so matter what you listen to you can be represented in the sound and can relate on your own level however you choose.
Nick Archambault- Bass Guitar
Performing out front with passion and patented skillful moves, Nick mans the stage like a gun turret.
At bass guitar he stands at 5ft. 3 inches tall, and with the power of a bear, commands attention. Nick has an ear for dynamic fills and solid pocket playing. Nick is looking to expose himself to several audiences nationwide and focus his attention to capturing new friends at every show.
John Anno- Lead Guitar
Currently single and disease free. Loves long walks on the beach and candlelight dinners. Has been shredding for 12+ years and is influenced by everything from rock, to blues, to reggae, etc. etc. etc. A self-taught musician with a passion for playing live and songwriting. Takes pride in his rig and calls his guitar Pracilla for no apparent reason. Sometimes plays blindfolded. - “Down as Fuck”
Markus Reynolds- Percussion and Aux.
Libra - Born Oct. 16th - 6’ 2” 170 lbs. Dark hair, Blue eyes and Handsome
Has been playing percussion and hand drums almost ten years. Studied Congas and Cuban music in Phoenix AZ. Currently gives lessons in congas, djembe, and bongos. Enjoys the element of spirit that music brings. Performs behind a set of three congas, bongos, blocks, chimes and cymbals. Plays anything that makes a noise. Loves Flu Shots and gambling and once woke up in a circus two states away.
Richie Allen- Drums
Richie Allen is one of the top local drummers in the Springfield area and has been part of several popular bands in the Midwest. In addition to his busy schedule, Richie has come on full time with the project since the first of the year. With explosive fills and technical stick work, Richie has added the solid drive needed behind the melodic lyrics of the music.
